Toni leads inspirational yoga classes, retreats, workshops and teacher training’s in the UK and abroad and has trained hundreds of students to become yoga teachers through the yogahaven 200hr certification program.
Her inimitable style of informed teaching combined with a relentless passion for learning and sharing what she has learnt, inspires a deeper understanding of yoga’s tradition of self enquiry through the flow of breath, movement, and mindfulness.
In 1998 after moving to London to follow her childhood passion for drawing and painting, Toni gained a BA Hons in Illustration. In that same year she began to study and practice yoga as a means to combat the stresses of her burgeoning success as a commercial illustrator and interactive designer.
In 2005 Toni qualified as a 200hr Yoga Alliance, Barkan Method teacher, she returned a year later to become certified to teach Level II & III and Hot Vinyasa Flow.
Her yoga journey has continued ever since; successfully graduating in Classical Yoga for children and teenagers, Pre and Postnatal Yoga, Raja Yoga Meditation, Anatomy & Physiology, Yoga History, Philosophy & Ethics and Shoden & Okuden Reiki. Most recently Toni finished her training in Yoga Therapy for Mental Health Conditions (350+hr) with the Minded Institute and is currently completing her accreditation with the British Council for Yoga Therapy (BCYT)
She has also received intensive instruction and training from many world renowned teachers including Manju Jois (Astanga Vinyasa), Max Strom (Hatha), Baron Baptiste (Power Yoga), Ana Forest (Forest Yoga), & Sharon Gannon & David Life (Jivamukti).
Her current personal studies include Yoga History & Philosophy with Georg Feurstein (800hr) and Neuroscience (MSC)
It is this continued learning which enables Toni to teach a variety of classes that range from the challenging and dynamic, to the mindful and restorative. Toni encourages a practice that heals, improves and integrates the processes and qualities of body and mind. Emphasizing awareness through alignment, meditation in motion, and the art of conscious embodiment, her classes challenge the body, engage the mind and quicken the spirit.
